Hannes Harrs (1927–2006) was a South African artist. He was born in Eckernförde, Germany. Harrs became known for abstract paintings, printmaking, and sculptural work.

He settled in Johannesburg in 1950 and studied at the Johannesburg School of Arts. His work reflects the influence of African artefacts and visual cultures.

Harrs held his first solo exhibition in 1961 at the Egon Guenther Gallery in Johannesburg. He exhibited widely in South Africa and internationally, including Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Collections featuring his works include the Johannesburg Art Gallery, Absa Bank Gallery, Sasol, and university galleries. His art is also held in institutions abroad in Germany, Switzerland, and the United States.
